• Consider your lifestyle – Think of how you’ll use each room. For instance, you may need more electrical outlets for your home office. Or, you might want a stain-resistant carpet if you have small children or pets. Consider furniture placement when locating cable jacks and outlets.
• Think ahead – Consider cabinetry finishes, appliances, paint colors, fixtures, or flooring selections for your kitchens and bathrooms. These elements set the style and tone of your new home.
• Bring cushions, swatches or photos of your key furniture pieces to the showroom to coordinate colors.
