Welcome to The Crossings I at Canyon Trails located in the bustling city of Goodyear. Incorporated as a town in 1946, Goodyear was part of the 16,000 acres purchased in 1917 by the Goodyear Tire and Rubber Company to grow the cotton needed by the company to make tires. In addition to tires, the Goodyear Aircraft Corporation was also home to the manufacturing facility for Goodyear Blimps.

Goodyear is a hub of development activity in the West Valley. The City’s location on Interstate 10 as well as direct access to rail and air transportation make it an unbeatable location for office and industrial development. New development includes the state-of-the art Cancer Treatment Center of America which is scheduled to open in 2009, bringing bioscience to the Phoenix Metropolitan area. Recreational facilities in Goodyear are abundant. The 20,000 acre Estrella Mountain Regional Park contains 33 miles of mixed use trails, a golf course, campgrounds, baseball fields and a rodeo arena. Baseball’s Cactus League Cleveland Indians open their Spring Training facilities in 2009, with the Cincinnati Reds scheduled to open their facility in 2010.
