Position overview:

This position is an excellent opportunity for a high energy, highly skilled sales professional to join a dynamic team.  Ideal candidates will be joining a successful homebuilder with strong market recognition.  The role is responsible for the day-to-day activities of running a sales office and for direct selling homes to buyers.  The Sales Representative typically works on site, out of the model home tract.

Duties will include:


  • Greets prospective homebuyers and escorts them through the homes;
  • Provides literature, point-of-sale information and handouts to prospective homebuyers;
  • Answers questions concerning the product and researches follow-up items if necessary;
  • Receives offers and prequalification applications as well as answers questions about financing;
  • Analyzes financial qualifications of prospective homebuyers;
  • Follows up on loan application and required paperwork;
  • Writes specifications for completion of home contract;
  • Monitors construction and mortgage status for each homebuyer;
  • Sets appointment with Design Center when needed;
  • Attends weekly sales meetings and conference calls to review status of each contract in backlog with regard to construction and mortgage status;
  • Participates in and leads weekly community team meetings with field staff and management;
  • Conducts market research and provides input or authorizes advertising for the project;
  • Monitors, reports, and processes all cancelations, sales, and holds (if applicable) on a daily basis;
  • Ensures that sales environment and associated sales tools are maintained in excellent condition at all times and reports deficiencies accordingly.

Candidates Will Need to Meet the Following Qualifications:

  • Real Estate Sales Agent License required;
  • Proficient in Microsoft applications, including Word, Excel, and Outlook;
  • College degree preferred;
  • Weekend work required.
