Transforming Hope to Help
City of Hope is one of the many medical research efforts to which Standard Pacific has a longstanding commitment. Indeed, throughout the country, our divisions support the American Cancer Society, Orange County Children’s Hospital, March of Dimes, Cystic Fibrosis Foundation, Leukemia Society, Juvenile Diabetes Foundation, numerous hospitals and hospices and the Drug Use Is Life Abuse Program.
Walk…Run…Race…Get Involved
From Orange County, California to Orange County, Florida, Standard Pacific team members take part in annual Walk/Run/Race events such as the Susan G. Komen 5-K, just one example of individual commitment to making a difference.
Spotlight on Youth
Since the Company’s founding in the 1960’s, we have given special attention to youth organizations. Boy Scouts of America and Boys and Girls Clubs of America, the YMCA and YWCA have known the ongoing support of Standard Pacific for over 30 years. Nearly everywhere we build, our Company strives to be involved with family life, from sports programs to educational foundations, in local schools, and through support of ongoing and higher education.
Our Role as Homebuilder
Working with industry colleagues and national organizations, our Company contributes as a homebuilder to such important efforts as HomeAid, Habitat for Humanity, Joshua House, Florence Crittendon Living and Learning Home, and numerous shelter programs for victims of circumstance, abuse, disaster and transitional living.
Teaming with Technology
Standard Pacific is a consistent contributor to local schools, offering support to adding new technology to the classrooms. Some divisions also utilize their websites and online technology in a number of philanthropic ways, to raise money for such worthy causes as museums, women’s centers and programs to assist abused and neglected children.
